Designing for Web
Last year, we had the pleasure of working with Neva Ingalls with transferring her website to a new platform. Her old site was outdated and needed a new, more modern design. We built her website in Squarespace and used the structure of her old site as a base. The major challenge we ran into was setting up her site to sell services and accept payment.
We starting by browsing templates on Squarespace to find one that would fit her aesthetic. We wanted to update and modernize her current style, while staying true to who she is and what she represents. Once we had a template picked out, we set to work populating the site with new pages, photos, and all the relevant information from Neva’s old website.
The most important thing we wanted to do with this project was to empower Neva with the ability to make changes and grow the website without us. We set everything up and then, through a series of video calls, helped guide Neva through the process of making changes on her website, adding new products/services to her store, how to blog, etc. In the end, she was given the tools to move her website forward the way she wanted.
