Klimt vs. Klimt
With current covid concerns, its hard to explore the world like before. Inspired to see museums taking their knowledge and collections to online platforms to make the art readily available without leaving home. Gustav Klimt is one of my favorite artists. Love his confident, sensual lines, the mix of realism (shocking to the art world at the time to represent aged and pregnant bodies) and rich symbolism with the modernism of beautiful flat patterns.
