To Alaska and Beyond

I recently had the pleasure of traveling to Alaska on a Disney Cruise this summer. While the traveling there and back were a bit hectic, the cruise itself was magnificent. I’ve never seen such beauty in nature as I have with Alaska. The sights were absolutely breathtaking. But the sites were not the only thing I was able to experience. My husband and I also had the pleasure of learning how to draw some of Disney’s most well-known characters.

At first, I didn’t want to participate in these lessons. I regret missing out on the first couple, but after we went through the drawing lesson on the second day, we made sure to hit every subsequent lesson. A few of the lessons were actually taught by a professional illustrator and, by a stroke of luck, I managed to convince one of the crew members to teach us how to draw Roger Rabbit (a personal favorite of mine).

All in all, the trip was wonderful. It seems like we’ll be making these cruises a regular thing, so stay tuned for more updates!
