Clients We Love: National Museum of Women in the Arts

As an art history major, I love this museum and what it represents! The National Museum of Women in the Arts houses — under one big beautiful roof — a lot of the artworks I studied at UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergrad. It is an honor to partner with NMWA.

We created a 16-page plus cover brochure cataloguing upcoming season’s events as well as an 8-panel highlighting the Shenson Chamber Music Concerts for 2019 -2020.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) is the only major museum in the world solely dedicated to championing women through the arts. With its collections, exhibitions, programs, and online content, the museum seeks to inspire dynamic exchanges about art and ideas. NMWA advocates for better representation of women artists and serves as a vital center for thought leadership, community engagement, and social change. NMWA addresses the gender imbalance in the presentation of art by bringing to light important women artists of the past while promoting great women artists working today.

Their Mission Statement

The National Museum of Women in the Arts brings recognition to the achievements of women artists of all periods and nationalities by exhibiting, preserving, acquiring, and researching art by women and by teaching the public about their accomplishments.

We loved working with Alston and Kevin at Studio Red Design. They understood our design goals and seamlessly used our brand identity to create some fresh and bold designs for our season brochures. Alston even talked directly with our printer to make sure the brochures would be printed and folded correctly. We even had some timeline issues on our end, and Studio Red accommodated us and turned around the designs very quickly for review. Overall, we were very happy with the design, customer service, and final product that Alston provided us with. Her expertise, experience, and dedication to our satisfaction as customers really sold us on Studio Red Design. We’ve already decided to use her for our brochure design next year!
