In With the New!

Wow, what a crazy time… we definitely need to be out with the old and in with the new!  2021 promises to be a year of great and positive change.  We have a new president and administration coming to town, and hopes of reconnecting in person with our friends and loved ones soon.  To build our own momentum for 2021, Studio Red Design is making some exciting changes too that we are delighted to share with you: a new team member, a new website, a new logo, and enhanced social media outreach!

Joining the team as a full-time employee is Theron Taggart.  While Theron has been in the background since the inception of Studio Red Design as the CFO, he is now taking a role more front and center and serving as the Strategy Lead.  In this capacity, he will be interfacing with new and existing clients to drive deeper understanding and relationships and help ensure we deliver the best design services.  Over the year we realized that we spend so much time on design and production that there was a gap in how we serve and interact with our clients.  Theron will help close this gap.  Theron brings over 20 years of consulting experience in the areas of strategy, financial performance, restructuring, innovation, and learning.  In addition to supporting existing design projects, Theron is available to design and lead workshops on any topic, provide strategy or innovation consulting, and help with people and change initiatives.  Welcome Theron!

Continuing in the vein of better service to our new and existing clients, we have completely re-designed our website – all with an eye towards making it better for you!  We have dramatically simplified the website and reorganized it around who we serve (you), what we do (our work for you), and what you are saying (your testimonials).  It is all about you and we hope that message resonates as you experience the new website at www.studiored.us.

To better clarify what it is that we do, we have redesigned our logo.  While we loved the RE (regarding) art and Design concept with the folding business card, we got feedback over the years that the message and services were unclear.  As a graphic design firm focused on branding and clear voice, we needed a change.  You’ll see this logo featured prominently across all of our materials.

Finally, we are taking a new approach to social media.  In the past, we relied heavily on blog posts to our website pushed out periodically through newsletters.  While these will continue, we have decided to “bite the bullet” and fully engage across all major social media platforms.  More importantly to you, we are making major changes in the topics we cover.  We will be highlighting your organizations and people and the great work you all are doing with a very small focus on us.  You are the reason we are successful and we see this as a great way to share your stories with the world.

On a closing note, want to wish you all the safest, best, and most fun year. The year is what we make of it (and you’ll do a great job)!
